How do I measure distances?

You can measure distances in either GPS On or GPS Of (Manual) mode by simply touching the screen anyway. This will give you a distance to the target position at the bottom of the screen and a distance from the target position to the pin at the top of the screen.
How do I measure my shot distance?

You can measure your shot distance when you have Player Stats mode ON in both GPS On or Off in manual mode. Simply when you arrive at the ball, touch the distance at the top of the screen and Shotmiser will prompt you accept your current location. Tap accept and the distance of your shot will be displayed on the right. With Player Stats ON Shotmiser logs all your shots.
How do I know which mode I am in?

Shotmiser works in two modes. GPS On and GPS Off, what we refer to as Manual mode. You know what mode you are in by looking at the GPS icon in the top right corner of the Shotmiser. If GPS is showing green you are working in GPS mode. If showing red you are not receiving a GPS signal and the Shotmiser reverts to Manual mode. You can also turn GPS On and Off by tapping the GPS icon and accepting the 'Turn Off GPS' or 'Turn On GPS' statement depending on the Shotmisers current mode.
How do I switch to GPS Off - Manual mode?

To switch to GPS Off - Manual mode, tap the GPS icon in the top right of the screen and select YES to the 'Turn Off GPS' prompt.
How do I switch GPS On

If in GPS Off (Manual mode) to turn GPS back on simply tap the GPS icon in the top right of the screen and select YES to the 'Turn GPS On' prompt.
What is the difference between GPS On mode and GPS Off - Manual mode?

GPS On mode allows the Shotmiser to track your position on the course yard by yard as you walk the hole. Your yardages will update at the top of the screen as the course map zooms and rotates to your current position, you are able to touch the screen to obtain a distance to any target position on the hole and from that point to the pin. You should only be in GPS On mode if you are at the course. Manual mode works in the same way as GPS On mode except you are marking your position on the course rather than GPS placing your position. You are still able to obtain the distance to any target position on the hole. Manual mode is useful when you are away from the course and would like to simulate playing the course and in the event that you lose GPS signal.
My distances aren't updating, what's wrong?

If you are on the course and your distances aren't updating, you are probably in GPS Off (manual) mode. To switch to GPS On mode tap the GPS icon at the top right of the screen and select YES to the 'Turn GPS On' prompt.
Why do my distances seem incorrect?

If your distances seem incorrect, you are either in GPS Off (manual) mode and you have not logged the position of your last shot. Or Shotmiser is currently not receiving a GPS signal. To reset the GPS signal tap the GPS icon in the top right of the screen and select 'Reset GPS'. Your yardage information should now update.
Why are all my distances reading ---?

If the distances are reading --- you are in GPS On mode and are not on the golf course you selected. If you are trying to preview the course or simulate play away from the coures, you need to be in GPS Off (Manual) mode. To switch to GPS Off mode tap the GPS icon at the top right of the screen and select YES to the 'Turn GPS Off' prompt.
Shotmiser can't seem to get a signal?
