"I knew I had it in me to break par this year and I finally achieved it about 3 weeks ago when we had that great spell of weather. My current course record at The Laceby Manor was a 73 of yellow tee's last year,that was without using GPS. I purchased the Shotmiser around march time this year and since using it I have regularly being shooting in the 70's instead of low 80's. I also used to struggle on away courses due to being unfamiliar with yardages or bunker distances ect but again since using shotmiser I've had some 70's away as well. The one I'm most happy with is a 77 on the Brabazon at The Belfry

I finally achieved under par with a Gross score of 68.

The biggest difference I have noticed since using the shotmiser is that it stop's doubt creeping into your mind when you are having one of those amazing rounds or maybe a pressure game in match play when you are 2 or 3 behind with 4 holes left to play. Just knowing you often have a 20-30 yard difference from front to back of greens, or an exact lay up distance when wanting to shoot into the green from your favourite distance(mine is lazy swing with PW from 100 yards). These little extra bit's of info are the reason why I think I'm playing far better this years.

I was off H'cap of 11 early last year and this year I'm down to 8. I did get to 7.4 in first round of club champs 2 weeks ago with a 75. I then shot a 85 when we had that really bad gusting wind and it put me back up to 7.5. When I consider I came joint second in the gross club champs though I can't argue.

"Taken shotmiser on course now twice, here's my thoughts.

1st time: Excellent for distances and scoring. Helped massively with distance though was off winter tees so knowing the exact distance rather than guessing was immense, definitely saved a shot or two.

2nd time: Best piece of kit I have bought including my new I15's, distances were spot on, registering scores now simple and the stats option perfect.

All in all the best buy for any golfer in the market, 10 out of 10. "

"I have used it several times now in competitive play and practising and it is absolutely fantastic. It takes all the pressure of choosing the correct club for each approach shot by giving you a very accurate yardage to the centre of each green. On my course (Ellesmere GC, Worsley) it has not lost it's signal once and updates very quickly. The Shotmiser has helped my game immensely and I anticipate that it will help me achieve my goal of becoming a single figure golfer."

"I never buy anything these days without researching it, then I spend an eternity hummmin and haaaing, then should I shouldn't I ? and then when I finally buy it I spend the next week or so wondering whether I have done the right thing.

Well can I just say I did exactly that when I bought the Shotmiser, oh dear how I have wasted so much time because as it turns out I cannot praise this product and the support from behind the scenes highly enough.

Not only does it do what is stated on the tin, the tin is continually being developed and improved and these improvements are passed straight on through software updates !! the improvements and developments appear endless so you are going to be buying golf gps system which just keeps getting better.

As far as the support goes I had an issue with a course download which was fixed within a couple of days and not once did I have to go chasing people they came looking for me, wow ! it just doesn't get any better proper customer service, if you have any doubts then please don't. GET THIS NOW!!!! the longer you hum and ha the more you are missing out on. thanks to the team, keep up the good work."

"I have never been a great judgement of distance, even from the fairway unless I am bang on 150 I never quite know how far it is. This leads to doubt in my mind and usually a poor swing.

With this device distance is no longer a worry, get over the ball and hit the shot. Any negative thoughts are gone.

In addition to the fairways I often find myself on the other fairway trying to work out how far I need to hit to get back in play. No end of balls have been lost hitting good shots to areas I misjudged the distance on, therefore ended my good round. The Shotmiser has the abilty to pick out any point on the course even from the wrong fairway and that is a MASSIVE advantage. I have no doubt that my scores will come tumbling down as a result.

I could not overstate how impressive the customer service has been. I am always playing with my drivers clubs etc to try and gain an edge but with this product I genuinely feel I have found the one to get it."

"I had a look around the internet for about a month deciding on which Golf GPS device I was going to buy.

Price wise Shotmiser came in at middle of the market. Price was a concern as I didn't want to spend a lot of money some are as much as £300 - £350!

for me it was a toss up between the SkyCaddie SG5 and Shotmiser.

In the end I went with Shotmiser, the major reasons for this being: It gives yardage to any position on the course by touching the screen (SkyCaddie gave set points as did Caddy Aid). It zooms and rotates as you move down the hole giving me a clear line of shot. The graphics are crystal clear. It has a digital score card and stats analysis and the device can also be used as a Sat Nav in the car.

I got out on the course with it a week or so ago and knocked 5 shots off completing my best round to date. The battery lasted 36 holes which was good as I've heard some of these devices can be power hungry. Stood next to markers on the course I found that the yardage I was given was accurate to within 1 to 2 yards which I won't argue with.

All in all a very useful piece of kit thats very easy and simple to use. I received great customer service from the people at Shotmiser, they were very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Thats something that is very rare, Good Customer Service."

"The course was mapped out as promised and as it would happen it was tested no less by one of the Shotmiser team to make sure it was working correctly. Not bad given that I play in Scotland and the guys are based in Yorkshire.

I've had the Shotmiser out on about 15 rounds so far and can say that I haven't had any problems at all. The display is very clear and yardages are spot on.

However the best thing I have found over the Skycaddie I had previously is that it gives me a bit more flexibility when I need to layup to a specific distance, especially when my drive gets a wee bit out of shape!! I have definately put it though its paces in recent months as I have driven onto ajoining fairways and needed to plot my way back to the hole. The top down view provided by Shotmiser helped a lot to get back on track and there is nothing better than parring a hole after a poor drive - just ask the guys I play with as they are delighted for me I'm sure.

So first impression were good, second impressions even better. However while it is all very well having a great product, companies need to back it up with good customer service. As others have already stated, I would be surprised if another company could match the Shotmiser service. Without doubt Shotmiser has been great from day one and with the new updates it can only get even better."

"I found the unit easy to use on the course and really encouraging to know the actual distance to the green be it front, back or to the pin. The graphics are very good.

I found the downloading of courses straight forward enough as with the software that came with it.

The screen is clear and with the Shotmiser it also has little extras like stats which you can record you score, putts, FIR, GIR and driving distance to give you the average, a great benefit.

The service I received was second to none, I would highly recommend Shotmiser on the customer service front as 10/10 on all fronts."

The benefits and advantages of Shotmiser you can understand for yourselves. What's more important, and what makes it great is the support you get from the company when you need it.
