What's New in Shotmiser 3.6

In this latest 3.6 major release of Shotmiser we've taken on board many users comments from the Shotmiser forum, these are key to developing Shotmiser for today's golfer. Along with our own development work, we've taken Shotmiser 'the future of Golf GPS', to another level.

NEW FEATURES INCLUDE:

Resume Game - You can now exit Shotmiser whilst using Stats. Your Stats are saved. You can resume the same game by selecting the course and selecting resume game. This will then load the course from where you exited.

Game Stats Analysis - Once you have completed a game with Stats, sync your Shotmiser with MyShotmiser. The stats game file is automatically transferred to your PC. Note, you can now enter your putts at the end of your game if you so wish. You will need to do this before syncing with MyShotmiser as once you have synced your device and the stats game file is transferred to the PC, there is no way of amending the stats game file. The stats game file cannot be transferred back to your Shotmiser device. This functionality will be available in the 4.0 release of Shotmiser in the Autumn.

Auto Advance - Shotmiser advances automatically to the next hole when you stand on or near the next Tee. This feature is set to ON by default. To turn this feature off, tap the screen at the bottom and select the Tools menu then Options. un-tick Auto Advance.

Undo Shot - Delete a logged shot by tapping the screen at the bottom and select the Back Arrow.

Course Updates - Updating your current courses has never been easier. When a course is updated on the Shotmiser website, all customers that have purchased the course are emailed a notification that a course has been updated with steps on how to re-download the updated course for free. These steps can be seen below and you may choose to periodically update your courses by following these steps in the event that you have missed an email notification.

STEP 1 - Transfer the course file back to your PC from your device.
STEP 2 - Click 'Download Courses' and log in to your list of purchased courses.
STEP 3 - In the 'Venue' or 'Course Name' column, left click on the course you're updating to highlight it
STEP 4 - Right click on the course and select 'Refresh course file from the Web'.
STEP 5 - You will be prompted that the course file has been downloaded and is ready for use.
STEP 6 - Click OK and then the 'Back' button.
STEP 7 - Transfer the course file back to the Device from the PC.

The updated course is now ready for use in Shotmiser. If you encounter an error stating 'Although the course file was downloaded, you do not have a license to use this course'. Please check that you have transferred the course from your device back to the PC, see STEP 1.
