OptimizeGolf were recently invited to the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship as official suppliers for the fourth year running.
IMG, the worldwide sports management company, again requested the services of OptimizeGolf at the prestigious Pro-Am event, which took place from 4-7 October 2007.
We provide the stunning course overview pictures which depict the round of the Celebrity participants and that of their Professional playing partner. The Celebrity's who made it to the final day's play at St Andrews are presented with this picture as a memento of their round.
The pictures are personalised with the scorecard and every shot is shown as a tracked line around the course.
This has always been well received by the participants due to the quality of the imagery and the uniqueness of the memento. Last year Michael Douglas came into our cabin to sign a copy of his picture and to tell us that he had it displayed in his home. This year Ian Poulter told us he has his picture in his office in his USA home.
The shot tracking is captured using OptimizeGolf's handheld GPS device - Shotmiser.
This year, for the first time, participants were able to use Shotmiser during their practice rounds, to assist them with accurate distance measuring and course strategy.
